ITL NC and CNC-Controlled Circular Saw Machines

ITL NC and CNC-Controlled Circular Saw Machines

ITL delivers 360° metal cutting solutions for a wide range of engineering applications. With a strong focus on innovation, customer-centric solutions, and service, the company has developed cutting technologies capable of processing materials ranging from standard engineering steels to demanding materials such as titanium, hot-die steels, alloys for aerospace, and case-hardened steels.

As part of its commitment to advancing metal cutting technology, ITL has developed India's first NC and CNC-controlled circular saw machines compatible with both TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) and HSS (High-Speed Steel) saw blades.

Designed for high-volume manufacturing, ITL's TCT Circular Saw Machines set new benchmarks in productivity and precision. They provide an efficient alternative to conventional shearing machines, automatic bundle-cutting band saws, and automatic lathe (Traub) machines in mass-production environments.

Salient Features

The machine delivers exceptional cutting precision, achieving cut-length accuracy of up to ±0.050 mm per 100 mm. Its controlled crop-cut feature allows operators to accurately set the length of the first cut from every new bar, ensuring consistency from the very beginning of the cutting cycle.

The superior cut surface finish eliminates the need for secondary facing operations, resulting in significant savings in both material and production time. In addition, the machine features a 1,000 mm shuttle stroke with multi-indexing capability, making it easy to process longer workpieces with high efficiency.

Applications

The ITL Circular Saw Machine is particularly well suited for cold forging applications, where maintaining minimal weight variation between cut pieces is critical. It is also widely used in forging units, metal cutting service centers, automotive industry, fittings and fastener production, arms and ammunition manufacturing, infrastructure projects, and refineries and petrochemical industries. The machine is equally effective for end-piece cutting in forging operations, end-cutting applications in CNC production centers for automotive components, and a broad range of general-purpose batch-cutting requirements across the engineering sector.
