AMS 1370V Delivers Machining for Large Dies and Patterns
Ace Designers’ Machining Center Division, part of the Ace Micromatic Group, is showcasing the AMS 1370V, a high-performance vertical machining center equipped with a high-end FANUC controller. Designed for demanding applications, the robust machine is particularly suited for large pattern, die, and mold machining.
Ace Designers’ Machining Center Division is one of India’s largest manufacturers of machining centers. Under the AMS brand, the company offers a wide range of high-quality, productivity-focused machining centers for applications across the automotive, engineering, die and mold, pattern-making, railway, and aerospace industries.
The AMS 1370V is a value-oriented machine featuring enhanced aesthetics and application-specific features for die and mold machining. Its robust and rigid construction, wider working area, large front and side openings, high-precision ball screws, and linear motion (LM) guideways make the machine user-friendly and suitable for a variety of cutting applications.
The machine comes standard with a 60–6,000 rpm indirect-drive spindle, while customers can opt for spindle speeds of up to 12,000 rpm with a BT-40 spindle taper. With a table size of 1,450 × 700 mm and X- and Y-axis travels of 1,300 mm and 700 mm, respectively, the AMS 1370V is well suited for machining medium and large dies and patterns.
Depending on application requirements, customers can select options such as coolant through the spindle, increased daylight area, different spindle diameters, and slat- or scraper-type conveyors. An electronic counterbalance for the Z-axis ensures stability and precision during machining, while the machine’s high load-carrying capacity of up to 1,500 kg enables it to handle heavy-duty machining operations.
The AMS 1370V is specifically designed for heavy die and pattern machining applications and can be configured with high-end FANUC, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers to meet customer requirements.
